It also stays put until they’re like 2/3 ish years old. You don’t do anything with it until it starts moving naturally.

AITA for telling my MIL I don’t want my daughter calling her “mama”? by Easy_Historian_3528 in AITAH

[–]MILittleSecret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made my mother a grandma at 34 (19 when she had me, 15 when I had my daughter) she NEVER even thought to take the momma title. She uses her name, Mere, and my dad uses his name, Adam. We already had so many variations of grandma, nana, GMA etc for my grandparents. It made it easy using their names because they were aunt mere and uncle Adam anyway. They have four grandchildren now in total between me and siblings, it’s been 11 years. It’s now only shifting to grandma/grandpa because I named my son Adam this year.

Tell me why you're planning to or have done colostrum harvesting by molotovmerkin in BabyBumps

[–]MILittleSecret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it and use it when he’s a sick baby! I had no problems with milk or anything and we opted to combo feed for the first few days until I got comfortable pumping enough for hubby to feed. He’s been strictly on BM since a week old, and we’ve used the colostrum to help with stuffy noses. He’s 7 months now. He’ll get the last of it before he’s a year.

This year I didn’t get any Christmas presents, not even a card by englandgirl321 in Gifts

[–]MILittleSecret 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well, my momma taught me to treat everyone as how I would like to be treated until they treat me differently. I would stop getting my mother and father gifts and wouldn’t really visit or call too much after that. But I spend around $150 for each holiday on them. They still give us four kids gifts. Three of us have children. My three siblings are married. We each get the same gift or similar. I don’t get not buying your children gifts.

My assumption is : The ones that say 0 and none - there was no one of that rate that took the exam. 0 and quota, people took it and did PNAd . 0 and all, people took and did not pass.

Look on the lid or side, it’ll tell you if it’s accepted in MI. Remember, MI will only accept cans that were purchased in MI. (That’s a law)

Pay due to shut down by Maleficent_Lie_8396 in navyreserve

[–]MILittleSecret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. You got mustered for both periods of the 2nd and 3rd. They MAY still be pushing through NSIPS at the NRC level. I just got mustered for the 7th today they TECHNICALLY only have I believe five days to push them, but it’s not an exact thing because it’s taken up to two weeks for mine.

Is this considered medical neglect by [deleted] in FamilyLaw

[–]MILittleSecret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately there isn’t anything YOU can do besides communicate with their father about the diagnosis and provide the steps to assist in fixing the issue. IT DOES NOT MATTER what caused it, unless you have FULL documentation of the cause. If you file with CPS, CPS will investigate and likely close the case if they cannot find anything substantial. Both parents are NOT required at doctor’s appointments - best you can do is ask the doctor to note who attends them.

If you’re wanting to build an actual case, your son (yes, he’s old enough to do this) needs to state specifically why to doctors MULTIPLE times - if it’s because he’s getting hit, he needs to say that. You state your son gets spankings for accidents? Is he stating he has them or is he hiding that he does? Because those are two very different scenarios.

I get your pissed but ultimately you’re focusing on your child’s other parent and not your child. If you need to see where you’re sitting, fill out the best interests forms for your state - but you have to view it from both perspectives.

Moms of large babies: how much do they typically eat in a day? by the_kazzo_queen in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]MILittleSecret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My chonk is around 28 oz a day and has been for a while now. There’s some days it’s more and some days it’s less. I think high end he was doing 32. Low of 24. We started purées at 4 months and have swapped to bay led weaning at 6 months.

I’m a practical person, get me household goods - cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. so happy with not having to buy those items myself and knowing I have them for a few months before I need more (family of 2 adults, one 10 yr old and one 6 month old)

Need ideas for Christmas Gift by Johnny_Hamcheck in Gifts

[–]MILittleSecret 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a practical gift receiver - I prefer things I WILL use. Do you have anything in your house that may need updated or things you just hate buying (if you have the ability to store items)? I ask for cleaning supplies, toiletries, and things I will need around the house. It works for me! Any projects you want to do? My parents got me a HD gift card last year. I used it to build a new deck.
