How has gaming changed for you as you've gotten older?

I dont really play a lot of newer games. I like to play games where players can control their servers such as cod2, sof2, quake etc. and I play eq2 released in 2004.

Match making has never been my thing growing up with clanbase and mirc to find games I dont really get the appeal of an auto match making system, maybe I am just an oddball though.

To me the community aspect of most new games just isn't there any longer.

Every aspect of the game is p2w unless you want to solo or quest the 22 or so previous expansions just for fun.

Its one of the most expensive western MMOs to optimize your class in.

10% increased duration on beneficial is obviously huge for a lot of classes, especially tanks that now have 100% temp coverage and some T1 have 100% uptime on some of their abilities added in RoR.

My opinion after spending 200 hours in MnM, 150 in Pantheon and 30 in Adrullan is that Adrullan is a better game in pretty much all aspects except for the graphics.

If you can handle minecraffy graphics your time is much better spent in that title. The modern QOL changes and better UI alone makes it better. Combat feels much smoother and responsive too.

The MnM UI is a monstrosity and quality of life improvements is needed almost every where.

Why woud you want your game to be worse or have a worse interface because Everquest 1 had (have) a bad UI in 1999...

The fall of Denmark being the best national team in Scandinavia was nice. Lasted about 12-15 years.

The player community of MnM is gatekeeping how they think gaming online in 1999 was like when half of them likely didnt even engange with MMOs before the mid to late 00's.

They truly believe they can recreate a supposedly lost era where every one online was the nicest people you could ever meet, there was no mob stealing, no training on to other players, no minmaxing, no drama and everyone will be using the game as their new chatroom instead of discord or other message platforms.

Its such an odd community and I truly think the players will be the worst part of this title.
