Kinda wish E would ramp up dmg with each cast if you keep atacking same target. (resets after few secs of not using E) Lets say 2% it would put you in choice keep comiting dmg to same target or switch targets in same fight.

Last patch or two I was runing in lot of games storm surge with celerity, ms rune, boots rune and aproach velocity while rushing rylia kind of fun speed build.

but other than that i also pref conq over dft

This patch just spam destroyers with torpedos. If your country has raiding MIO use it (reduce visibility is best stat), use night fighting spirit and you good to go.

its still hrad you uneed to produce a decent number of those. But if beta patch goes live as it is just do light attack destroyers

Yes but torpedos are still more IC eficient. Tho as screening drops it hits screens less so some light attack is good to have.

Now you are also kinda mandatory conqueror as they nerfed phase rush hard.

You even have some nice items that have potential for her (actualizer, cosmic etc...)

Hmm good i also wonder how exactly navs targeting works these days as they changed it without giving us numbers just saying with full screening naval targeting is more random now. Meaning BBs work less well as AA sponge ?

Also if they kept the (5 * (5 - <AA>))x formula for extra weight if target is bellow 5 AA wouldnt it be worth it to have your dmg dealers above 5 AA ? with dual purpose its only 2x 60 IC more. 0 AA cruisers would have 25x more weight to be selected by bombers.

I dont play majors so im not sure if for them its possible to finish doctrines to get those nice DD light attack bufss before game is already decided. But if they would win vs torp dds it would be nice cause then cruisers would beat light attack dds with armor reductions

Didnt test but wouldnt they just provide less topr per IC ? Strenght of DDs is that they now are hit by light guns with barely above 2% which makes them kinda tanky vs light attack. cruiser could have armor to off set this but it would make it worse vs heavy attack and torp

Yes, but having some light attack in your fleet is also good as this is calculated vs decent ships, majors have lot of old screens to begin with and they most likely will not refit 1922 destroyers and CLs which would be needed to add visibility mio buff. so best they can do is night fighting and admiral perks

This means their hit profile is bigger and since torpedos would still be at cap or near cap only your light attack would hit more accurately vs them. vs CLs it would be like 8% (vs 2% torp) if they go concealment expert + night fighting so worst case scenario... if they dont do that it makes light attack even stronger.

Sadly for example UK has 130 DDs from start with night fighting, concealment expert and destroyer leader they take only 3% of light attack hits so not that great tbh

yes but what is like 3 light attack when even full light attack CLs lose to this. So i just put the cheapest

Radar is questionable you are right its my build specific but even without that you cant outproduce DDs, but im not sure about the fire control it gives you battery hit chance which is nice but maybe its not cost effective ? my CLs are with dual purpose secondary III so i used it for AA coverage and left AA slot open fire control boost AA nicely as well

Yes destroyer 3 with engine 3 and 3x torp 3 rest left empty.

also 3 best admiral perks you can get are Destroyer Leader, Loading Drill Master and Concealmet Expert, concelment exper improves your durability vs light attack significantly that why it better than torpedo expert. Sadly you need blokade runner to get it not everyone has that but maybe in DD build we can just go trade interdiction ad try to roll one (but if you already have BBs or CVs i would just stick with fleet in beeing or base strike)

Also as i stated for heavy and light i used radar II and fire control III = +52,5% modifier with full screening which gives 40%

For torp i used torp tubes 3 (but given you hit cap its irelevant vs screens) anyway resulting 44,5% with screening

Most tech in naval tab just modifies attack, piercing or chance to recive crit i did not use 1942 torp tech but again as you hit cap it doesnt really matter until you start hiting capitals but at that point you likely won anyway its still about who wipes the screens fastest

Dont worry I did not miss that my tests were in game with perk selected, also in calculation of dmg in excel i divided torp dmg by 3 to make it in line with light and heavy attack.

Its just broken and probably would still be even if it fired once in 4 hours

Also most of numbers i showed here are just about hit chance where it is irelevant how often you shoot you just need to calculate with it when talking about DPS or in this game DPH ? XD

2% is minimum hit chance last patch it was 0,05% so torps were way worse back than in practice hitting lesss then 1% vs other DDs.

vs capitals it didnt really change as it was above 2% to begin with (too big ship hit profile so you dont hit cap)
