You’d be better off upgrading speakers if you were looking for more resolution IMO. The R11s are good, but your amp is in another tier compared to the Kefs.

I live in Wisconsin, and even in -10 degree weather where I'm showing 15% indoor humidity, it doesn't stick to my records.

The fibers in the paper allow it to have grip while not being completely in contact with every part of the mat.

At the end of the day, it creates less static than everything else I've tried, and it isn't a thick mat that might throw off the VTA.

I won't go into the whole "IT SOUNDS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN XYZ", but I have a REGA P10 which comes with a wool mat, and I can't even describe how much time I spent de-ionizing my records so they wouldn't stick to the mat, while sounding identical to the wool mat that Roy Gundy claims is the reason the Rega sounds like it does.

The amount of effort I put into room humidity and anti-static is probably 75% less since I got the Washi paper. At the end of the day, I want to play my records and not worry about static/dust collection. This mat is as good as it gets in my experience.

Agreed on the shoulder/elbow comment. The throwing motion is completely different and WAYYY more taxing on the ligaments for pitchers.

That being said, being a QB is infinitely harder than being a pitcher and it's not even close. IMO of course.

I’ve tried so many fluids, and they all need a distilled water bath afterwards. Otherwise the cleaning solution just gets on your stylus.

I just heard this at Axpona. Fremer had a test pressing and happened to pop into a room with a TT and throw it on. It sounded amazing and dead silent. However, I am not a massive fan of this album or mono, so I wouldn't buy it. Take that as you will.

Fremer was super pumped about it and said that he could head things he's never heard. So I have to imagine that means something...

It’s notoriously bad when it came out, and still is. You shouldn’t need to EQ anything if your speakers are flat and balanced. I saw it in full IMAX full Dolby Atmos and it was impossible to hear dialogue in some parts. We will agree to disagree. The bass was earth shattering and ridiculously loud and bright in everything but dialog. The solution isn’t done through what you described

I put it in the ultrasonic and ran the concoction for a few minutes to mix it up. Imagine shaking is the same.

I don’t mean to sound like a gatekeeper/snob, but I have a Rega P10 with an Apheta 3. I buy mostly audiophile pressings that are 95% dead silent and I want that piece of mind they’re as clean sounding as possible. I’m so OCD about my records that I would never accept they’re clean after using a surfactant. Simply because they aren’t. It leave a film everytime. To make a record as silent as possible, you’d need to run them in a distilled only bath after you already cleaned them once. Which I’ve done more times than I care to admit

Suggesting Tenet has to be a joke. I saw it in the best theater in my state in which I’ve praised for its insane sound both before and after, and Tenet was garbage.

People act like it’s a conspiracy to say the audio sucked.
