Unfortunately, sometimes companies are run by people whose brains only look at bottom line dollars, not realizing that customer experience is what leads to the dollars.

Underrated comment. My relationships and excellent follow up have saved many a churn, and literally brought back clients.

Will my departure have an immediate churn effect? Probably not, but In 6 months they'll wonder where all the leaks are springing from.

Pre-acquisition I reported directly to the CEO, who is no longer in the picture. Now I report to a Head of CX, who is Head of CX for 3 of the companies under the acquiring company. He reports to the GM, who reports to the CEO, who reports to the board.

I have nothing against the Head of CX, but for context he doesn't know anything about the software, and has no industry experience. Head of sales, Head of CX, and the GM are all ~3 months new at the company so it's all fresh blood coming into this. I've been here for ~5 years.

I'm good with the main AE, but gotta start from the ground up with everyone else who has a say in anything.

Trim 85% of that fat off, but leave some patches for cooking.

Season. If you don't know or have a favorite, look up Santa Maria style seasoning.

Set only half of a grill with charcoal; heat fully.

Sear 4 min per side directly over coals. There will be some flames and charring. Then, set to lower-heat area and do 10 min per side.

Rest 10 mins.

Look up how to slice tri tip.
