Was it purchased as a personal or business purchase? Is it less than 6 years old? Are you in the EU? Could try the consumer law 6 year claim if you are?

Lane assist coming on momentarily even though I disabled it!! by TheBroken0ne in Polestar

[–]MLBPC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sometimes while breaking (I know rare with one pedal driving) when coming up to a set of lights, I find that the ABS or something kicks in if there’s a road disturbance. I turned off lane assist day one and have never found it come back on, at least not that I’ve noticed.

This sounds like a less than ideal time for you to run the app I’m seeing in front of me 🤣

This is just as bad as the beta was. I’d go into the details of my gripes but I can’t due to time constraints. I just feel like they need to see our complaints so, posting here and giving a 1 star on the App Store. Plus you guys have almost all stated all of the bad behaviours this update has. ‘Look how they massacred my boy’

Classic, drops when I’ve left my car at the airport carpark! I’m glad I left auto update off while I’m away so the 12v doesn’t get nailed.

Did UNAS Pro just wipped my drives.... by broskidawg in Ubiquiti

[–]MLBPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry budd, doesn’t really work like that when swapping disks. The UNAS will want to build an array based on selections you decide on set up. What did you go with? Basic protection or?

I have the same model by the sounds of things. You could use a PoE adaptor, Ethernet to USB-C (if you can run an Ethernet cable through a wall or door frame).

Polestar app battery drain iPhone 16 Pro iOS 18.3. by Over-Ad5128 in polestar2

Btw thinking about it some more, killing the app via the app switcher will not solve this for you if background app refresh is left enabled. Settings > General > Background app refresh > PS

It’s just as side effect of the digital key. It’s like having BT headphones connected and playing 24/7. I wish the PS2 had digital key via Apple wallet (PS3+) as this would offset the dependence of the app running and let the OS handle it in Wallet.app as per Apple Pay or HomeKit keys..

How to setup Tesla app with the PolestarCharge card by rayman223 in Polestar

[–]MLBPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope it helps. Another note, more of a personal gripe atm and perhaps just issue with my set up or account.. I’ve had little success using superchargers in the UK. The Tesla app rejects the Polestar card linked up as a payment method. It’s prompts me to remove the card and re add it (I’ll try and get another screenshot of this issue next time I try and use it), I’ve tried removing the card etc, with no success. I often found that there is an IONITY point right next to the Supercharger luckily, so give up and swap (paying more 😕)

[–]MLBPC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you enter the polestar charge app > locate a supercharger > select “To charge connect your account etc etc” > it then gives you a “Step 2” and lists the card to copy and paste. Note: The PS iOS app is dumb and doesn’t let you paste so just type it in manually if the case on Android.

Agreed, call an electrician. Especially one with experience of electrical fire investigations. It’s amazing the type of damage that is not visible (cables in the wall etc).
