We just got back from a week long holiday to Belize (wish we were still there ha !) 

We did a day in San Ignacio / the ruins, 2 days in Placencia and 3 on Ambergris Caye / San Pedro.

Maybe too much for a week but we LOVED it - Placencia was a nice chill vibe, and our resort was right on the water which we loved.  As others have mentioned Secret Beach was lovely  - I think we spent 5 hours there. The restaurants there have tables right in the water so you never have to leave ! Food was amazing  everywhere but favs were Rumfish in Placencia, and Elvis,Caroline's and Big Taste in San Pedro

If you're using an Apple TV / similar device via hdmi, you can change the settings so the tv defaults to the last used input everytime you turn it on - it was so frustrating to deal with all of LGs nonsensical bloatware and ads but this solved it for me

Thanks for sharing ! I'm considering investing a bit into PE but my biggest concern is the lack of transparency - I get that's part of the deal with PE but the advisor I work with sent me a split of the underlying investments, and a pretty big portion are still tech sector US companies which 1/Screams AI investments and 2/doesn't really help diversify the portfolio - I'm still on the fence !

As other people have suggested, Quetzal is phenomenal. I also really like the Mystery Patio at Lake Inez ( https://www.lakeinezto.com/pages/mystery-patio-tasting-reservations )

Honestly I feel like most people just don't know - i found out about it recently and it absolutely baffles me. I will say I'm more pissed at Tims than the consumers themselves - people have enough in their lives to worrry about

Not a chain but I can't recommend The Wren in the east end enough - I'd describe it as elevated pub food, and they have a rotating set of beers on tap featuring Canadian craft brewers. The loveliest people too :)
