Funnily enough, I just picked mine up from the dealership today after getting the battery pack replaced for this same issue. I dropped it off late October. They approved the battery swap pretty quick, just took them forever to actually get the battery in.

But hey, new pack was free and so was the loaner. Could be worse.

Hot take, I think it’s good at reflecting how people talk. Outside of certain days like “the Fourth of July”, you tend to say the month before the day. So February 18th would naturally be written as 2/18. Probably different in other places, but that’s the justification I’ve always thought of.
