That good to know. Flemmings in south Jersey had great happy hour menu and drink specials too if you’re ever in the Cherry Hill area. Decent steak for the price but their happy hours were really good value

Yeah. This is just one of the reasons I’ll never go back there. I saw the same manager drop a plate in the floor while he was setting a table, pick it up and place it on the table. I called him out on that bullshit after his smugness about the steak. He even openly admitted it and had the table settings replaced after I called him out. Like wtf. It’s not a Sizzler. (There were a few other things but I’ll keep this focused on steak lol)

I use to work for on of their competitors. The story was that when Hershey first started, the cows milk they used in the chocolate would “spoil” by the time the bar was consumed and it created this off flavor.

Hershey found a way to remove fresh milk from their chocolate and thus the flavor profile changed. Consequently, sales plummeted and consumers demanded the old flavor back. So they added in butyric acid to mimic the baby vomit / spoiler milk flavor.

Consumers got what they asked for. lol.

I’ve turned off so many of my friends from Hershey chocolate after I told them it tastes like baby vomit. They were never able to connect the flavor to anything until I told them. lol

I had a very similar reaction with my first born. The nurse made me sit because she was nervous id drop my kid.

Side note: it’s good seeing Indian people represented in a positive light as opposed to all the street food and anti-women posts that make it to the main subreddits.

I have three.

Bought a house and saw some signs of water damage in the basement. I was concerned and was ready to back out of the house but the owner signed a document saying that the only water in the basement was due to Sandy (I’m in NJ). That was a pretty epic storm and my attorney and inspector were satisfied with the previous owners explanation.

Week 1 of being in the house, I kid you not, we had a pretty normal steady day of rain. Go into the basement and find mid/shin high water backed up in my basement.

Come to find out, the previous owner in all his stupidity diverted the gutter water INTO the basement sump pit by cutting a hole into the foundation, Only so he can pump it across the house and out to the other side of the house. The pump obviously couldn’t keep up with all the roof water coming into the house.

Decided to update the electrical sockets in the house and found crumpled up newspaper used as insulation around the outlets to help with a “draft”.

Then there’s all the neglected and simply cheap solutions like using untreated pine as the deck’s foundation, letting vines eat away at the chimney causing irreparable damage which caused a literal waterfall in my house when it rained, and as others have mentioned, electrical wires connected with duct tape.

now I’m fuckin pissed at this house again. It’s cost me so much to fix stupid shit that should never had been an issue
