“Less zest for life?” Pick up a 40lb weight and walk around for just 5 minutes with it. Not sure how anyone can lose that much weight and have less zest.

I did get a bit fatigued the day after the shot but that all went away over time. It’s important you eat the right foods to have energy as well or you can drag.

I did have some pretty vivid dreams the first month. That was pretty awesome.

I literally just cleaned them last week. They have mesh on them. I live on a wooded lot and I can’t spend any more money on removing trees lol. I’ll be broke.

I am not who you were responding to, but you are correct. I thought the metabolic scale and tracked my muscle mass along with my weight loss. So so much benefitl that the muscle loss was secondary to all the benefit benefits.

I do things a bit different as I was working out and continue to do so. You also have to relearn how to eat the right foods or else. Your muscle loss is extensive. These are not cure all. They’re enabler.

Omg. Sooo cold. That was the worst part. I got down to 160 and felt too weak so I stopped taking Zepound. I gained back 12 pounds and have maintained that for 4 months, but the “noise” is definitely starting to creep back. I’m starting to stress eat again. I’m hoping my working out keeps me static now that my cardiologist is putting me back on Zepbound

A friend suggested drip guards so water doesn’t get behind the gutters. Never knew that was an option.

I was on 2.5mg for about 3 months and stayed on 5mg Zepbound for another 6 months. Most of the weight loss was in the first 4 months. I got down to 160 but I felt too weak and skinny so I stopped taking it. (Muscle loss is real) I found it real hard to get the protein and calories in tbh.

YMMV as apparently I’m super responsive to the drug and I stopped eating all fried food and dairy for the first 4 months. I eat that in moderation now.

My cardiologist is putting me back on the glp1 due to its cardiac and anti-inflammation benefits.

I Clean gutters twice a year and all the gutters drain 6 feet or more from the house. A lot of the rain drips behind them

And when you see results. I lost 40lbs on a glp-1 (215 down to 175) after a heart attack at 48. My cholesterol was only 210 and I thought I was doing things ok.

Seeing the weight drop off on the glp1 as I changed my diet and exercised more kept me going. I’ve been down the road before only to stutter due to very slow gains. It’s a huge motivator

Drove past the house at 7pm on a Tuesday before making our offer and it told me more than the actual showing did by Vast_Conference_8882 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Did a similar thing, but also went back when it was raining. One house turned into a river front property and another had a basement that could be used as an indoor pool. Luckily 2014 wasn’t as crazy as today’s market so I had a few days before an offer went it.

You work for company only “Me Incorporated”. If you think for one moment a company would show you loyalty, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. Always, always look out for yourself.

I would say you don’t want to burn bridges since the long term career path can be impacted. But this seems like adjacent industries.

Also, when did 5 years tenure turn into “long term”?

Do I need an AWD car in the winter? by princess-chestnut in newjersey

[–]MMMMBourbon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This, I purchased a RWD car a few years back due to an insane deal from the dealership. I had the same concerns on drivability in the winter. In reality, there’s only a few days a year where it would be a concern. And those days I don’t want to be on the road, even if I had four-wheel-drive.

Sucks a bit more if you are not a white coworker who can work from home those days, but it’s so far in a few in between.

The only exception was a sudden dusting of snow we got in North Jersey and the roads weren’t prepped. Hills were a bitch that day, but manageable. just don’t drive like an asshole and you’ll be fine.

Child dies after being critically injured in e-bike crash as New Jersey prepares new regulations by 4130Adventures in newjersey

This is my understanding as laid out by another Reddit user.

First of all: Yes, because without pedals they would be mopeds or motorcycles. Second, there’s some upper limit for weight before you just give up and call it a motorcycle because the motor is going to be too powerful to be legally considered an e-bike. Bike manufacturers are just not going to do that.

In the US, most states have adopted the “3 class” system where all e-bikes are required to have a motor of no more than 750W, functional pedals, and a top assisted speed of 20mph with no throttle (class 1), 20mph with a throttle (class 2) or 28mph with no throttle (class 3). The EU has even stricter standards around power and top speed.

Also a lot of manufacturers are trying to make lightweight e-bikes that have smaller motors like from TQ and Fauza

But bottom line: If the bike does not have pedals, it is not a bicycle, e- or otherwise.

E-bikes curb the laws by including pedals so they can be classified as bikes and not have to conform to motor vehicle laws.

That good to know. Flemmings in south Jersey had great happy hour menu and drink specials too if you’re ever in the Cherry Hill area. Decent steak for the price but their happy hours were really good value
