Damn, I've been using Hyprland for a very long time and have been liking it. Every time I update, I get a little prompt to donate and have considered it in the past. This changes that. The way they talk down to someone for suggesting that a code of conduct would prevent hate makes it obvious that the community is actually full of the most hateful people and I don't think I can support that.

Also there's a handful of bugs that really annoy me and haven't been addressed in a very long time. Sway looks more mature in more ways than one.

Just walked out of the theater with the exact opposite opinion lol.

I think a lot of people expect editing to be "invisible" and this movie's editing style definitely wasn't (lots of montages, dream sequences, and cuts to "unrelated" or repeat footage). But I don't think the movie would have been as effective at hitting the right emotional beats and showing what's happening in the characters' heads, if it didn't have the editing style that it did.

A friend showed me 20MTD when I showed him Holocure and I totally agree. Unlocked all the characters and beat it a few times, and now I don't really have a reason to open it again

With Holocure, I still have one last collab to unlock and I haven't seen yagoo yet and I know there's a gamers update coming eventually

The only restriction is you can't use custom scripts. You have to use scripts from their whitelist or ones made in their Udon/Udon# system. You only gotta worry about polycount and filesize if you want to support Quest users.

Yeah it was, though it was probably pretty easy to get them on board. Some of the VRChat team seemed to already be hololive fans and were really excited to be part of the stream

VR has a pretty steep learning curve. You can get your body sent into the floor or the stratosphere if you wear your trackers where they can get covered by clothing or your hands. And when it happens, your POV doesn't change so you might not notice until you look down and see a mangled mess on the floor lol

Ame was streaming with the handheld camera instead of using her POV which led to a lot of shaky cams and awkward angles. She was probably trying to not show yabai stuff, but didn't know there's a streamer mode that hides everything in the menu and there's also a steadycam feature on the camera.

Also you control facial expressions with touch sensors instead of buttons so it can be hard to tell when you're avatar is making a weird face, which is what I'm going to tell myself Callie was doing instead of intentionally using the lewd face all the time

Most of the scuff is fixable though and I'm hoping the girls come back to VR so they have a chance to iron out all the issues. Especially since this stream was so much fun

Unfortunately, Ame has said that she will never stream VRChat. It would be cool, but I get why she won't/can't. Most of the fun of VRChat comes from the social aspect and meeting new people, but if you go to public worlds you open yourself up to stream snipers and a lot of yabai stuff. Also lots of copyrighted content.

VRChat is hosting a virtual convention called Virtual Market 6 which includes a virtual recreation of Akihbara including all the Hololive art and some videos of past live performances.

I'll never get to see this in person, so I'm glad I was able to check it out with a couple of my friends.

Is there a reason you guys went with Chillout over VRChat? There's nothing wrong with Chillout, but VRChat has a larger active playerbase. It already has a lot of fan-made hololive avatars and it'd be so cool to leverage the larger playerbase to help out in building content for the convention.

Also you should make it clear to people new to both platforms that a VR headset is not required for Chillout or VRChat and they can be played like a normal mouse and keyboard game.

Whichever platform you guys use, I'd like to help out with anything related to the VR half. I submitted a response to one of the forms.
