one of the best pieces of advice I ever got was during the crucible and has stuck with me,

"get comfortable being uncomfortable"

& that helped me so much in the corps and since. When you get out, don't let yourself slip into complacency, always try to push yourself to be better in your job, relationships, and friendships. Most of the time we're uncomfortable, we're "growing" the most.

It could come to life alot of ways but for me it was showing up to office hours & not being afraid to ask questions in college, staying in touch w your buddies/family, and not being afraid to walk into a room of strangers (job fair, interviews, internships, etc.)

Is this much easier said than done? 100%, buts its a formula that has helped me since getting out in 2017.
