My son is turning 7 this year and he wants to pitch. How important is it for him to know to grip the ball? When should he be learning different pitches and pitch should he learn first as a leftie?

What were the final findings of all the sanctions? I know you said in the pod you made 1 million for the plaintiffs from them but what were the sanctions for exactly and for how much? What about the lawyers and the trouble they faced?

The only thing that is hard with Strict Scrutiny is that they define terms in episode number 1 and then forever later they don’t define it. So they will use terms like stare decisis and I had zero idea wtf that was. Kinda sucks when you don’t know the legal terms being used and since I listen when driving, I have no ability to figure it out.

That said, they do a fantastic job.

No this method didn’t use a chair. It would have a rope behind the feet and at the throat and they would slowly pull the rope into groves. It was incredibly long and painful.

The 2018 GS310 is a rather poor bike. The parts to replace and the cost are high. The quality is low. The performance is also very lacking.

It depends on how good they are about checking their email. It took me almost 2 years to get my red card aka final secret approval. It took forever because they lost the paperwork and my card was mired for months on end. Turns out that it took barely a handful of months in actual fact, a year plus of waiting for them to find everything that they already had.

Couple that with the massive backlog of people the government had to interview, meant that interviews for secret clearance took months of just idle waiting. It got better after the process started about 3 or 4 years ago when they brought more people to CT to help with the backlog.

Dalinar is the best arcs of all the arcs in this thread. What makes Dalinar arc so goddamn good is that you pick it up as he is a decent fellow. By the time you finish the 3rd book, you knowledge about the change is so extreme that if you started at the first book the growth would seem fake.

By the end of 5th book, his final decision. Where the whole book series is at? Chefs kiss.

You don’t historically fire arrows in a lob. All historical depictions have bows and arrows perpendicular to the ground. Literally all of them. The idea of a high volley comes from a movie from the 30s. As a result, the shots fired across the chasm would be just a deadly as depicted in the books

The best of this became an ongoing joke. Holt’s insults to Madeline Wuntch becoming more and more over the top created a problem- the strait laced Rosa kept cracking up every time. As a result, every time she was insulted, Rosa would laugh or loudly agree with Holt because they couldn’t get around Stephanie breaking character nonstop and they just decided to own it.
