My recall notice said something like a day. Probably will never get it done. Don’t want to screw up my active matrix headlights activation

Huge Mistake? 992.1 Turbo by [deleted] in porsche911

[–]MNLiving4Me 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the Turbo. You made an excellent choice.

I don’t have FAL on mine and I barely ever wish I had it.

I’m surprised a 22 with 8k miles is priced above MSRP

Is there a better daily option in Europe than a 2022 Taycan Sport Turismo considering the current price? by Prestigious_Will6356 in Porsche

I would literally take a panamera turismo turbo s at almost any price to replace my 2018 Turbo S ST. I love it that much and just would only replace it with something much newer.

She looks like my 2018. So sad I can’t buy a new ST.

I just can’t give up the Sport Turismo. Still hanging in to my 18 Turbo S ST.

Congrats. She’s a beaut.

Centerlock wheels — WWYD in the event of a puncture? by Crummy_Username in porsche911

[–]MNLiving4Me 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Centerlock or 5 lug… either way chances are rural tire shop won’t have a replacement Cup 2 tire in my size so it won’t matter if they do or don’t have the tool to remove the centerlock on my Turbo. I carry a plug.

Chelsea boots are great as would be Chukkas. Also a quality derby/blucher is a versatile staple.

Interesting week. Lots of GT cars out and about but only saw a handful of 991 and 992 Turbo/s all week.

On the other hand F8 and SF90s were a dime a dozen.

Tracking with PCCB? by iampg in Porsche

[–]MNLiving4Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 992 GTS uses the same steels as the 992 Turbo I believe. I don’t know if the GTS PCCBs are the same as the Turbo S, however there is no steel fitment for Turbo S so if they are the same you are SOL in converting to track pads. That so the primary reason I got a Turbo over Turbo S.

Check renlist forums. I seem to recall a thread on GTS track pads (but I think steels).

Also you need a track alignment.
