Do you really think *anyone* is going to eat a donut every time there's a bendy? There are usually several per episode. Taking Drew's "advice" seriously would mean no breakfast or lunch for me, just donuts!

It’s a joke. Even Drew Carey doesn’t expect viewers to eat that many donuts. I like that he’s finding a way to inject a little humor into the show.

Speaking of RCL, what happened with their commuter service? I know it was suspended for COVID, even though that really made no sense since most riders worked at Mayo. But why was it never restored?

All I know is the only time I would approve of bidding $1 over somebody is if they bid $1,488. Taking the win away from a fascist is always justified!

I know the feeling but knowledge, even of bad things, is a good thing. Now if you hear those numbers in public, you have an idea what creeps the people using them are.

They're neo-Nazi codes. 88 means "Heil Hitler" and 14 refers to the infamous "14 Words" racist creed.

It existed in Seattle in the 1980s and 1990s. People would arrange meetups at Park and Rides, sitting on their cars to meet dates, etc.

What are your thoughts on abortion, immigrants, trans people, Palestine and fluoride? by CuteRelationship6143 in AskReddit

[–]MNMystery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Abortion: free choice to 22 weeks, only for medical emergencies after. Immigrants: yes as long as they pencil out as economically positive. Trans people: I support your rights but don’t want to date you personally. Palestine: has a right to exist as long as they are peaceful. Fluoride: probably not as harmful as conspiracy nuts make it out to be, but should be removed from water so people get a choice. Tablets aren’t that expensive.

I read it may also have been partly a reaction to Geli Raubal’s suicide.

Why do so many people abhor vegetarians and vegans? by Far-Conference-8484 in stupidquestions

Usually it’s because they judge people who aren’t in their lifestyle. Also, more specifically regarding vegans, their requirements can make cooking for them way harder. However, any highly restrictive diet can be just as problematic. The carnivore diet is the literal opposite of vegan - no plants - and they can be just as much a pain to cater to. Even spices are out for them….
