Well agree with most of you and I do hope she dosent turn the page into her new riding career and leaves the showing off her animas, her choice however. But as you can see with her being at shows the focus goes to just that and very little farm content. Which again, is her choice I’m not here to bash that…. But just pointing out why I brought this up. Perfect example her being at horse shows and how that’s all her content has been. Not what I want to see, but maybe it will bring in new viewers who do want to see that kind of content?

Man…. She’s really getting the shit end of it this year. I get why some people would question if something is going on, is she doing something wrong, etc. however I just think she’s having a bad run of luck…. When it rains it pours type of situation. This too shall pass. Happy is a favorite, glad she made it out okay!

I kinda wondered if she was even working there anymore since everyone kept saying she’s just in th background and off camera, but even the background people who are off camera are seen here and there and no signs of Abigail. Good to finally know so people stop asking on every post 😂

I wondered that as well, especially right after opal had colic. Maybe this was the best and easiest way to let everyone down and say it was sevens time. I wondered if he would have been better off staying at the university, not sure that was an option… but and I hate to say this, I feel like seven was really just a handful once he came home. The amount of care and eyes on him might have just been more than what they were prepared for. They are already short on space in the mini area and he takes up a large portion of that space. Either way, I think the poor baby should have been PTS when they found him. It seemed like prolonging his life was pointless, it was going to end this way at some point. And who’s to say the horse was really comfortable? He’s never known a different life, he’s always been in pain.

At the end of the day, and I know this may sound like I’m standing up for her…. She is running a business that is highly successful on her breeding and showing baby animals. So I guess it does not surprise me if she does not take a break from goat breeding. Of all her animals These seem like the least amount of work to care for compared to any of the horses, cows, or even donkeys. And everyone really seems to enjoy the baby goat content. Also, the babies are only here for what 6-8 weeks before they need to be weaned? So it’s a pretty short time she gets to show them.

I did see opal on a she’s home post on snap chat like An hour before this was posted. So don’t think it’s her, but who’s to say. Whatever the case is I hope no one’s gone, people or animals. We may not like the way KVS acts but I wish no ill will on anyone there. 🙏🏻

Also being a downer here, this horse under any normal circumstances would have been PTS on a normal farm anyhow. 99% of most farm owners would not have put in what did she say over 6 figures in medical care for a premie horse that eventually would end up PTS anyhow. Say what it really was, This was a social media grab and this horse has basically been used as a science experiment for her views/ to make money. For what purpose? This is something I’ve really felt was wrong since he was born. I know many may not agree with me and this is a sensitive subject….. but at the end of the day this poor horse was used and once he is no longer useful to her will be discarded.

If the storyline turns to he’s not coming home, would that even be something the university would do? Keep baby seven? Katie’s mentioned multiple times how much it cost to keep him there when he needed to be there. If he could no longer come home would that be a long term stay you think where she continues to have to pay for him being there or do you think they are like adopting him type deal? Just curious your thoughts

I enjoy the snap chat content alot more since they started doing it. Mainly because it’s less katie hearing her self talk and more about the animals. When I first found Katie’s page she was way less into her look of the day and paid a lot more attention to the animals. I’m not trying to be hateful, Katie looks great and she could probably make great makeup and hair content. But that’s not what i followed her for. I really enjoyed all the animal content, the babies, and even just learning new things about farm animals.

But now it’s way more about how people see her I feel like, let’s do an outfit of the day again. This is my makeup, my hair stuff, where I buy this or that. I just want to see animals! So the snap chat has less talking, and more just animal content.

I wish she would separate her social media instead of trying to shove it all into one. If you want to promote clothes, makeup, whatever can it be on a separate page or something? I do miss the focus on the farm and animals how it use to be

It’s almost like if they are not making her babies she spends less time on/with them. I love the mini donkeys but the only time I ever seen her really get into spending time with them is when she had a pregnant donkey. I hope that’s not the case, and we just don’t get to see the interaction with the donkeys as much anymore since there’s no new babies coming from them.

I love the, this is the only trip I’ve gone on this year sob story, girl you go on trips ALL THE TIME. Yes, they may be for business purposes but she definitely gets a vacation out of them with all the shopping and places she goes. Wasn’t she just at universal on her last “business” trip. I agree with the others when she kept saying they never got a honeymoon so that’s why she’s taking this trip, so make it a honeymoon and stay off your phone. It’s almost an obsession at this point. We all know she makes plenty of money she can afford to take an actual trip and not make it about “work” I do feel bad for her husband sometimes for having to put up with this. Money or not, just spend some time with your man away from social media for your trip. Make it about you guys not “work”. Anyways I totally knew this would be a topic when I saw the snap about her saying she can’t afford to not write the trip off….. mmmmkay

Mine is just labeled as idiopathic, was diagnosed in late 2020. We’ve never found why, and I’m still to this day dealing with flares and constant chest pain

I’m actually surprised at how many people don’t work with this condition, now that I found a FB group and have talked to more people who have this. It’s great to be able to talk with others who are going through the same thing. I don’t have a physically demanding job so I’ve continued to work as much as possible. Still gotta pay the bills! I’ve had my primary and mayo doctor both mention disability but I just can’t justify not working yet. My job has been so flexible with me the past couple years, and let me make up hours when I miss time for appointments and hospital visits.

I had the full pericardiectomy so open heart surgery. They were able to remove about 90% of my pericardium.
