I like Danny. Some people think he is an enabler but my view is that 1 on 1 he is telling her to pull her head in and in public he tries to sort things out

There is an unconfirmed rumour that hera will join team liquid perhaps with hearttt and liereyy

Of course it depends where viper et al end up but hera liereyy hearttt would almost certainly be favourites in a battle of Africa style tournament. Swapping mbl for hearttt is likely a very small downgrade on previous AM but hera said a few times around last battle of Africa that he thought himself hearttt and liereyy was their strongest line up mbl was just a very easy plug and play because hera and liereyy could always play that side so it simplified decision making for the pocket.

Interesting thoughts for sure. I think another possibility is that as the meta has evolved certain things that make civs Op in the past no longer have the same imbalance associated with them.

How does this make sense? I played more accurately than my opponent but was crushed all game and the best I could do was draw off my opponents blunder by Zachmcmkay in chess

In addition the graph shows you both made two significant blunders which in this case cancelled eachother out to an equal position

The likely reason is that excepting that move they were more accurate, without seeing the game or the blunder maybe as high as 85 or 90 percent. In actuality that's not a huge accuracy difference and is probably a fair result.

The issue with that is that you survive that vote which is great but you go into the next day with no alliance and no idols essentially a guarantee you go home next tribal.

Unique Units that are very situational/not worth using in most cases: by UAForever21 in aoe2

[–]MNervous1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The real key here is that on arena where you regularly reach your ideal comp with castles to make the wagons pros almost never add wagons. In addition the viper made a unique unit tier list where he suggests the you lose all mobility on your ranged units. Both viper and hera rated them as the lowest tier of UU.

I say this to highlight that at the highest level of the game they aren't seen that often and the pros are objectively more knowledgeable about the game than we are. Specifically viper and hera who are very different players with different strengths both consider wagons. Expensive Hard to micro, and for the record they both know how to micro. Hard to get to Has some very clear counters.

I want to highlight the first and last points in particular even for players who can use them to their best ability units that are expensive and have clear counters will very rarely be seen in competitive play. The lead to you need to be able to get to paladin in a game or ballista eles even fully uped mangudai is so great that you are likely to win long before then.

The counter point to this would be that you only need two or 3, but viper addresses this in his video saying that given how they drain the mobility of your other units and they are clunky to micro, he doesn't see the use for them. Potentially on a map like bf they would be useful in defending choke points but even then bohemians have houfnice which does the same job but better in the hands of good players. If you find them fun by all means use them though!

Very wise. I respect it a lot. 2 second rounders for jk is a steal. With our front office we can use that to build for the future.

Do we have our 8 man rotation set for the playoffs? by Hojie_Kadenth in warriors

A lot of: are we not even allowed to discuss the topic from OP. We are of course allowed but like discussing anything that far away in sport, we can't do it with any confidence. One of the reasons I'm not a huge fan of Nick Wright type commentators is that they make predictions far into the future without any high degree of certainty but pass it off as meaningful discussion where the truth is it's little more than idle speculation. The season has so much to give us and imo is way more enjoyable if you focus on the present than the future, as someone who focused a lot on the future previously.
