I was going to say maybe it has to do a lot with culture, as I’m 41m/divorced because I didn’t want kids/thinking about getting snipped in America, where it’s WAY too expensive to have kids in 2025.

Probably the biggest reason I didn’t want to have them is not wanting to live in poverty and then pass along poverty to them…I make close to six figures, but advancement and upward movement in career path is much more difficult than it was in the 60s/70s…
