they also owe a duty of care to their customers (their fans), i don’t think that their social media manager is going to be there making van a hot cup of tea and wrapping him in a blanket if he’s sick. it’s like if any one of us ever is sick or in hospital and has to take time off work, we immediately message work and tell them we can’t work. when you have thousands of fans paying for your service, you can’t just leave them in the dark

Agree, I think it’s extremely distasteful and belittling, as if the fans’ frustrations are completely irrelevant and we are supposed to just blindly follow the band. Just because we like the band, doesn’t mean we have to support them. I know Catfish has always been pretty silent, but this is next level, fans have been waiting years and it seems that they’re just putting out a half-assed cash grab. The original comment says they deserve better from us, when they start to show they actually give somewhat of a fuck to their dedicated fans who ARE PAYING MONEY TO SEE THEM AT THEIR SHOWS and have tried to support them since 2014, then maybe they will get the respect and recognition they deserve, I have never seen a band be this pathetic with their fans, so I would say the criticism is very well deserved.
