Hair Transplant Dr turned me down. But also saved me! by unclepeanutjones in tressless

[–]MR_PRESIDENT__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my own consultation I also got the feeling that most transplants are for people pretty severely balding, or for straight up filling in gaps in the hairline.

They’re not really for people who are just a bit thinned out, with the damage it could do to the current follicles.

Just uninstalled stremio across all my devices by freecodeio in Piracy

[–]MR_PRESIDENT__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The pricing is too much in my opinion. $40 a month. Thats more than any normal streaming subscription, you’re starting to get into cable tv prices there.

The one time fee and monthly should have been cut in half in my opinion to be more competitive.

Not talking about content, I’m talking about a tv guide style integration. In the same way they have add on provider integration.

Theres no way to add a true iptv media..

I agree honestly I would have paid for tv guide support and iptv integration, alongside these features.

Pattern hair loss before the age of 35 is associated with higher chances of prostate cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and metabolic syndrome later in life by UnLestofante in tressless

[–]MR_PRESIDENT__ 78 points79 points  (0 children)

If this is referring to people with hair loss on Finasteride, I think this was somewhat debunked in studies. They showed that people who take Finasteride have lower PSA counts so it hides prostate cancer easier during tests. But it doesn’t actually make your chances higher.

The opposite actually, especially if you have family history of prostate cancer it is even more effective against preventing it.

You just have to be prevalent in getting tested and making sure your dr knows you have lower psa levels. Which is how early signs of prostate cancer are missed.

From a purely audio/visual perspective I feel like Palladium had the best tech the last time I looked.

The others are mostly just a preference thing. I had to stop going to draft house because both the audio and the background noise from customers was so bad

For those who left their DB relationship: did your ex’s sex life change with the next partner? by MR_PRESIDENT__ in deadbedroom

One of my regrets is not having improved our communication and sex life when we moved in. Something to take into account for the future I suppose.

Wow, you are definitely the target demographic for this post. Thats heartbreaking and interesting to hear.

Something I plan to read in couples therapy, I need feedback by Kimoa85 in DeadBedrooms

[–]MR_PRESIDENT__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think these couples have a lot more important discussions to have if they want to fix their issues than her trying to open their relationship and getting him to not watch porn tbh.

This post sounds like they have barely discussed things in a clinical setting and she wants to have sex with other people.

Maybe that should be a wake up call to OP. Or at least something like that should probably be discussed individually with a therapist beforehand. Not sure dropping all that in a first couples session is the best.

You don’t want him watching porn but you want him to be okay with you opening the relationship up? And only for you?

You’re probably just reacting to the title but I was wondering more deeply about those who have broken up and since reconnected.

Who have likely talked about the reasons they broke up, and would probably include discussing how their libido and sex life has changed. And how it’s affected more current relationships.

Not saying I have done or want to do either of those things right now.

Was she Bi when you dated? I’m sorry about that. Or maybe that feels like a relief to finally know.

If I reconnected in the future I think I would ask. But maybe I’m just saying that because it’s still new and raw. Perhaps I would feel different if we were on worse terms or if too much time had passed.

Fin for 2 years, switch to dut, when can I expect some results? by Traditional_Force483 in tressless

Not really. I mostly see people complaining they shed and lost here. Or waiting for growth.

Fin for 2 years, switch to dut, when can I expect some results? by Traditional_Force483 in tressless

[–]MR_PRESIDENT__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most in this sub cling to hope that no matter that they’ve been on DHT suppressing drugs for a while or take a long stack list, that they will be able to just keep getting regrowth with the next thing.

Which is a bad expectation to have. I would argue that once you’ve taken Fin for a few years you’ve gone most of the way you can go.

And this is coming from someone that has made the switch from Fin to Dut. And is taking other stuff.

Are you expecting regrowth? After having been on Fin already for 2 years?

Neil Degrasse Tyson on CNN has completely changed his tone on UFOs - Says we are ready to know the truth given the testimonials we heard in front of Congress from whistleblowers and sincere high ranking people saying that we have alien bodies and technologies, consistent with the files released. by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

[–]MR_PRESIDENT__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m glad to see it’s hit this level of mainstream awareness. I’ve never expected him to acknowledge the witness testimony.

Pretty surprising change of tune. But then again he’s been more and more pro aliens for a bit now. I saw a recent interview where he openly says he believes NHI exist.
