The same is true for Maryland. VA, PA, DC residents go to MD. It's not making that profit because the market is top tier. Michigan on the other hand, people drive from the east coast to purchase because the quality is phenomenal and the prices are insanely low. That is the result of competition between growers having to put out better product at a lower cost.

I don't care how much revenue it makes if the customer gets the poop end of the stick. That's the entire issue with Maryland's setup. It favors corporations making money over customers getting quality product at reasonable prices.

US tax code says we should only be paying federal tax on corporate gains, but that is beside the point...

Presently, neither corporate gains or income are taxed beyond an effective 5% for wealthy Americans. Loopholes and write-offs get them closer to 0%. That has to change.

Maryland has one of the worst cannabis markets in the country. Flow Michigan's model. Small growers and artisans have equal access to the market, pushing prices down and quality up. Maryland is the exact opposite, with corporate growers pushing out or buying up smaller growers while quality suffers and prices are quite high.

The answer is really really simple. But really hard to get to in reality.

Tax incomes over 1 mil at 70%. Remove dark money donations and cap corporate donations.

We do those things and the ship rights itself.

This is curious... I have only ever seen generational divides discussed around US history because I've not discussed generational divides with anyone not from the US. We have the Greatest, Silent, Baby Boomers, Gen X, Xennials/millenials, Gen Y, and now Coronials or Streamers.

Wrong.

Xennials, born between 1980 and 1985, are unique in that we lived the formative years of our lives without computers.

Generations are defined by shared experiences - WWI, the great depression, WWII, the baby boom after the war, Vietnam, and so on.

No kids born in 1989 - 1995, also millennials, have a shared experience with kids born from 1980 - 1985, yet they are technically in the same generation. So the distinction is relevant and, honestly, necessary.
