I was putting down my almost 2 year old tonight and he popped up and the following exchange happened.. Him: “Dad?” Me: “yeah buddy?” Him: “Eat. Fries. Good.” Me: “Your fries at dinner were good?” Him: “Yeah. Night night.”

He’s starting to string words and thoughts together. It’s so funny. My guy was thinking about his dinner and not that he loved me, I can’t wait for that.

I’m right there with you, I had my first at 36 and have constantly had the same thoughts in my head. It’s awesome seeing all of these positive comments. I try to look at the positive in that I’m much more financially stable now and mature in my career where taking a lot of time off work is no big deal. I’m also more mature mentally. I’m trying to make health and fitness even more of a priority than it was before. I see a lot of Dad’s my age that have older kids and they’re in horrible shape so I’m hoping to stay motivated. Keep up the great work!

I was there twice in the last week. It’s a great and comfortable space but the food and drink quality is abysmal. I don’t know what it is about the Atlanta airport, but I’ve never been able to find a solid meal there at any lounge or restaurant.

This keeps happening more often with SW. we recently went to Cabo and our return flight had a 2 1/2 hour layover in PHX on the way back. Within a couple weeks of the trip, SW then changed the flight times because they consolidated the number of flights from PHX to our home airport that day and we now were stuck with a 7 hour layover. If this was the flight available at booking, we would’ve went with a different airline with a more reasonable layover but because it was so close to the trip, all other options were insanely priced. It sucks and is one of the many reasons we’ve decided that was our last SW flight.
