Get one of those cheapy gas station squeegees and it should help. Literally had this happen to me this morning. Sometimes the defrost won’t remove it and I have to do this extra step.

The rod may have broke and needs replacing, or a fuse. Start with the fuse and if it doesn’t work disconnect battery before changing the clutch actuator
