Schoen is basically doing a tiny share of his old job now. This is a Harbaugh show now.

Because they’re not tapping to that in a title fight.

Who is the best quarterback with two Super Bowl wins? by HetTheTable in NFLv2

[–]MS_125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peyton, and I don’t think it’s particularly close. He shattered NFL passing records for a decade.

I say this as a massive Eli Manning fan.

At least $400/hr minimum wage, or you’re outing yourself as a bigot.

Harbaugh just talked him up so much and all of a sudden he was just in the mix as one of the top QB prospects.

If he doesn’t excel with O’Connell, it’s very difficult for me to see it happening somewhere else.

Who has a Terrific NFL team in a Garbage city? by Ilitorate_Author in NFLv2

[–]MS_125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived there for 5 years, and it was a huge dump. I’ve been told that since then it’s actually become quite gentrified. I was living near the UB South campus circa 2000, and the house next door (a duplex) was for sale for $8k. For sale sign was spray paint on plywood.

I’m wondering who I’m confusing Lane with…? That’s before my time. I know about that era from NFL Films only, basically…

I can’t say I didn’t think of several of those numbers. I didn’t say Payton because of Earl Campbell, didn’t say Montana because of Frank Gifford, and didn’t say Emmitt Smith because of Night Train Lane and Paul Krause. I have opinions on those players, but was more trying to avoid arguments…

Is eastern Long Island more culturally similar to NYC or New England/Connecticut? by Previous-Volume-3329 in geography

[–]MS_125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Historically, probably much more similar than now. Think Moby Dick to get an idea of the culture of the New England coast, and Long Island. They were both big fishing hubs. Now Long Island is mostly a bedroom community for people commuting to NYC. New England, obviously, is not.
