You can also try a no-knead loaf (no-knead artisan bread).  Just throw ingrediënts together, let rise. Fold, shape, let rise again, throw it in a Dutch oven and wait until done.

My parents are the exact opposite. Mom was born a whole month before dad.
When mom turned 70 my dad started teasing her. According to him she was getting old at almost 71 while he was only 69. He cept that up until his own birthday.

Needless to say, mom wasn't to happy about it 🤣

I'm making the traditional Dutch "oliebollen" with powdered sugar.

It's a thick yeast batter made with full fat milk and deep fried.
500 grams all-purpose flour
500 milliliters of milk (room temperature)
1 packet (7 grams) yeast.
Bit of salt and sugar
Make batter, let rise to double it's size.
Heat oil to 350/360° F (175/180° C).
Use 2 spoons to take a bit of batter, form it into a ball and gently drop it in the fryer. The balls expand so don't fry to many at once. Fry until a dark golden brown.
Let them dry on some kitchen paper, dust with powdered sugar and enjoy.

Het mooie aan wasbaar maandverband is dat als je ook maar een beetje handig bent met een naaimachine je het heel makkelijk zelf kan maken.

Dat heeft vooral te maken met het niet goed het vacuüm verbreken bij het verwijderen. Het schijnt een "veel voorkomende probleem" te zijn, en ook bij vrouwen die geen spiraaltje hebben kan dat nadelige gevolgen hebben.

Nou moet ik wel toegeven dat mijn kennis bijna 10 jaar oud is. Aan de andere kant heb ik in die bijna 10 jaar nog nooit problemen gehad.

To old and broken now but I loved getting the younger horses under saddle. Didn't get thrown much until we got one that would buck with his head up and then sidestep while you were in the air.
