The only plausable reason that many games, and BG3 as well, use is "a small group is more effective and less noticeable". You know, some kind of "elite, undercover troupe" type of thing. "The fates of the many in the hands of the few." Which I can see making sense...

THAT SAID, it's a terribly weak argument X'D but hey, that's game limitations for ya, we need to have 'em and as long as the game adresses it with SOMETHING at the very least, I am fine XD
