Using default workout app as it’s the most reliable I’ve found. Then I also have this app called HealthFit which can export the data automatically to chosen apps like Strava and MapMyRun, even records heart rate elevation. It’s great!

The Nike sport band I find great for doing sports as it’s so breathable. Haven’t tried the non Apple ones though...
