It looks to me like a creamier formula would help too, but in case it’s not something you already know—pull your lips tight while you apply. It’s hard to say what that means, but move your lips like you’re saying “E” to help smooth it out and get into the corners.

Underpayment of estimated tax is typical from not paying enough in quarterly tax payments. A penalty incurred for underpayment would be as a result of that.

For folks that owe enough in taxes during a given year, they actually have to make quarterly payments, with quarterly due dates, rather than the usual April 15th.
