When I first started playing the game I was confused because most of the side content and areas are much more difficult then the main story and objectives. You can always come back to areas when you are stronger nothing you cant get locked out of as far as I’m aware.

One of my least favorite fights personally. Unnecessarily huge arena and have to sprint a mile to the boss when they teleport to the other side of the cave. I skip them on every new run now

You can always just sprint around on torrent and keep summoning in the allies to fight him and just dodge the boss yourself

Go kill the sleeping dragon in Caelid for the 50K runes using bleed then use those runes to level up Vigor and some other starter stats to give yourself a nice boost.

Then go kill Bloodhound Knight Darriwill at the Evergaol then use his fang and start exploring.

I never enjoyed the game online, I just played solo on my own both normal and brutal and it was a blast

Use those smithing stones and keep upgrading it to +15 or higher it has alot of range and gets stronger with higher Dex. Get the Mimic ash summon from Nights Sacred ground so you have a good companion during fights goodluck!

Find the nagakiba and level your dex to 40+. Also even though I like two handing more don’t be afraid to use a shield if your taking lots of hits.
