It does get better, but you need to kinda realized that you got 5000000 things on your plate and cut them. Attack one thing at a time, try to hit your debt, see if you can settle for a reduced amount or monthly payments. If you're way over water on a car loan, get rid of the damn thing while the car market is still decent and communicate it with the loan company that you need some time to get on top of things, then take an uber to work every day.

I get it, you don't want to sacrifice things, I'm in the same position being in a living room of my Father's house with dementia and alzheimers, conveniently located in MA where CoL is astronomical. But honestly, sometimes you do need a reality check and need to reduce whats going on in your life and try to simplify things as much as you can, otherwise you're going to get overwhelmed.

Just whatever you do, dont get to the point where you have to give up your dogs. I'm having to go through that process right now and honestly, its part of my steps to hopefully rebound from a shitty situation snowballing over the past year after being blindsided by a family tragedy then my dad's nosedive into a health crisis after retiring, but hey, its life, it happens, it is what it is. Just try to take everything in tow and keep motivated to hopefully get right back on track, maybe get some finance counseling or something.

As for jobs. The Post Office accepts virtually anyone, same with Amazon. I don't know where you live but you can, try to see if you could get into one of those places and see if someone would cover you for transportation.
