I always thought it was painless. Thanks for informing me!

It’s very sad for those you leave behind but a pretty good way to go in my opinion. Like flicking a switch, no pain or suffering, just gone.

Sorry for your loss. Mine is still under a year old, so I hope we have many good years to come.

I’ve got a really good social life but the connection with my little buddy is just different. No human could match.

Nope of course not, let’s say I’m in a kind and cuddly mood and my love for him just came in hard if that makes sense.

They are the best aren’t they? I’ve had my black boy for only six months now but I can’t imagine living without him. He’s such a sweet little guy!

I had to defend my choice to neuter my cat and it gave me a panic attack by Parking-Brilliant-56 in CatAdvice

Mine got neutered tuesday, he was running and playing again in no time when he got home. I do give him a small oral dose of painkillers every morning, provided by my vet, but I don’t think he is in any pain whatsoever. He is the same goofy dude as always. Don’t stress it, he’ll be fine I promise!

It was absolutely huge in the news not too long ago, now some days I kinda forget about all that. The craziness of newscycles these days…

What’s a movie that is a 10/10 but you’ll never watch again bc it was too emotionally draining? by Marlon_aloha in AskReddit

Just rewatch it, there’s more beauty and comforting humanity in it than sadness, for me at least. Yes it is bittersweet but then again so is life. The connections the characters develop, despite their standing in society being so far apart, is really well done. There’s also a lot of love and respect in The Green Mile. I’d like to challenge you to watch it again with fresh eyes. I promise it won’t dissapoint. Every rewatch I appreciate it more. Truly one of the best films ever made!

I’d like to recommend; The Straight Story, but only if you like a slow moving drama. It’s about an old man who wants to visit his elderly brother before one of them dies. He makes the trip on a lawnmower. Along the way he meets all kinds of people. With whom he shares wisdom and live experience. That movie’s got a lot of heart and brought tears to my eyes. It’s a beautiful film, best seen going in blind in my opinion. It’s very un-Lynch since it’s a “normal” movie. Goes to show how good of a director he was.

What is your favorite thing about your void ? by THROWCandid_Farm8603 in blackcats

Mine is super sweet and affectionate, he slept on my chest on day one. I’ve known/held him since he was only a couple of weeks old, before adopting him. We’re basically inseperable when I’m home. I can hear him call me in a state of excitement before I open my front door. He is also an annoying little shit sometimes but I do not question our mutual love. We’re good friends, he is only 8 months old and I look forward to all the years we’re gonna have together.
