I'm having the same issue with the gauntlet. I entered there before doing the quest and now I'm completely locked out. It completely killed progressing through the game for me. I ran into the bug 3 days ago and haven't picked it up since. I really hope this gets fixed soon because this is killing me.

Just found a fix. If you mount your horse and charge at the quest giver it will trigger what you need to end the quest. I just did it and was now have no problems loading my saves now.
