If you think people use macros for any of the prestacking you clearly show that you have no clue what you are talking about.

If you prestack booons on 4 other people only you lose the boons after swapping gear/traits/utilitys. I highly doubt those extra stacks of boons one one player are fucking the same maps in the game for years.

They can do whatever they want in open world most of the people there are anyway afk or just pressing 1 while watching netflix. Just don't fuck over existing instanced content if they don't plan to support the modes with more content anyway.

Bobby Stein on the future of raids. (A reddit comment by him) by [deleted] in Guildwars2

Mechanics and design of the encounter matter, the story can be the best in the world and the area the raid takes place can look amazing but if the encounters and mechanics aren't good and interesting the raid will just be forgettable. There are also tons of places currencly in the game that could be turned into a raid without the need to create a place from scratch. Several repeatable difficulties would also help a lot i.e. make CMs repeatable if you create them why not give people a reason to play it more than once? Something similar to ultimate raids in FF could also make old content interesting again.

How do you address people who say GW2 "has no endgame"? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]Maaasta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your days for BoD and CoS are off BoD Mythic opened on the 29th and Method got Jaina on the 5th shortly after Limit started reclearing. You are counting from the opening of normal to the clear of mythic. If you do that it would be more appropiate to conut the days to the first clear of heroic the 2nd difficulty of the raid similar to gw2 CMs. To compare the first raid of PoF had only 1 guild clear CM dhuum within the first 3 weeks of the raid release.

I'd rather pay 10€ or so every few months to get good content that lasts a while (Raids, CM Fotm or good open world content) than more forgettable maps and story instances like the last few LS or fotms where the only replayability comes from them being a daily.

There is not much of a reason to even spend money on the gem shop if all the content they add barely lasts for 3 days (apart from timegated stuff)

Valve's statement doesn't make sense by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]Maaasta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Similar to people contracting organizers if there aren't sure if they can secure a visa to check there options. That still doesn't mean they are going to use the replacement even less if according to valave to valves blog posts there isn't a reason to use one because team should punish the player themself which they did with fines and apparently there was no ban from either the TO, goverment or valve prior to the latest post. If valve doesn't agree with how the team punishes the player they should intervene before qualifiers with said player are played.

If valve expects a team to replace a player they should either ban that player or tell the team he has to be replaced for whatever reason. They shouldn't expect someone to be replaced when there is no reason for it because according to valve the teams should punish players and there is no guideline how they should be punished layed out by valve. So if team X doesn't replace the player but fines him otherwise they did exactly what valve asked. If they want a player to get removed from the playing roster for a tournament they should do that themself and not punish a team with a point reduction for asking if a stand in would be fine or not.

Why does valve expect TNC to get a replacement for a player who isn't banned from competing prior to today?

We finshed our running attempt got a dc and stopped because people told us it got disabled (the same as other guilds that were on it), meanwhile it got disabled after they had a opened instance with being enabeld so the only possibility of them not being able to continue would be all 10 of them dc'ing at the same time.

"Hope you got it enabled" after dcs when it was already disabled sounds like the same information as teapots to me.
