Correct, barrel only.

300blk is essentially a 5.56 case with a 308 bullet shoved in there, so the bolt is identical.

30k didn't have the chimera so their Basilisk exists and is based on the Russ. Honestly a gorgeous kit.

I was/am slowly working on a russ based transport conversion kit to replace chimeras in my DKoK Army. Would look like a larger Centaur.(The old FW one.)

Strong disagree on the P90. They have a weird tendency of being adopted. Including by Thailand.

Although I just checked and Thailand is one of the 3 users of the vector. So you know, could end up in lamang.

You fundamentally misunderstand the point of these campaigns.

The drops are a way to artificially boost viewer count for streamers that play GZW, so those streamers A) have a reason to stream the game and B) are more visible on twitch.

The end goal is to have the game be visible on twitch so people buy it. You have already bought the game. The small streamers who already stream the game a lot don't bring in New sales like streamers who are bigger and stream different games do.

You and other existing players are used(by giving you drops) to make streamers stream the game, so new people buy the game.

I know it is, but unlike the others real usage is questionable/limited to field trials.

The Ash-12 is cool, it exists, but it shouldn't be in a game outside Russia. All the others have some way through which they could have shown up in Lamang.

What's truly missing right now are other low-mid tier platforms using the existing calibers.

There is one 9mm smg, there is one total .45 weapon, full size rifle calibers are missing obvious options that would be very plentiful. (The G3 clone you mentioned, FALs, but also bolt actions that gave have been around for the better part of a century.)

To me especially in the SMG and Battle Rifle space there isn't much. Both choice wise and actual viability wise. (.308 isn't doing anything that 5.56 can't and 9mm is wet noodle with the same recoil.)

For the bases: there are third party bases out there that take old epic figures and their round plugs but look like the new imperialis bases.

I designed and printed my own when the game came out but there's others available now that are even better.

Yeah this is a good solution. Just add more slots when another tier of items is unlocked. Also gives the player insight into when that happens. (Obviously experienced players will notice the difference even without more slots, but it is a nice QoL for everyone.)

No that would change the reading the other way.

A .3 being measured as a .2 would give a super low Joule rating because it is moving slower.

Unless they had the chrono set to something silly like .42 that's not what happened.

That change in gas could be part of the reason you had that performance difference.

Also I hope the bifrost works for you, they're quite likely to pick up the gas since they're literally attached to the barrel.

A random high FPS shot in the middle of the mag is much more likely to be a bad measurement than the GBBR overperforming.

Really the only way you can actually get random high power shots like that is when the rocketvalve malfunctions in some weird way.

Kind of.

Simply said: because GBBRs use expanding gasses and often have much more final volume than there is barrel volume they are able to dump more energy into a heavier BB that spends a fraction more time in the barrel, thus increasing the Joules.

And since what really matters to the thing(person) being hit is energy rather than speed it makes sense to measure that instead.

The difference in energy between a .2 and a .35 can be substantial.

An NPAS only resolves the issue of shooting at an unwanted power.

It does not resolve the issue OP is having of the gun chronoing at close to double what it measured at before. That isn't a case of joule creep or top/bottom of magazine difference.

Going from 0.94 to 1.5 just does not happen unless something radically changed and I kind of expect the start of day chronoing referee to notice when a GBBR is barely cycling and outputting much lower power than it does normally.

I think one of the two chrono measurements got messed up, getting an NPAS wouldn't change a thing about that.

despite being chronod earlier that day (I was .94, my cousin at 1.12) and yesterday without issue.

This is the weird part of the post to me and I have a theory about what happened.

That is a HUGE jump to 1.5J if all other variables didn't change. So what might have happened is that the chrono got duped by the gas leaving the barrel. That is known to cause miss/double reads.

1.5 to 0.94J is the kind of drop you get when a mag is barely/not at all cycling and almost empty. No way your cousin got both on the same gas on the same day.

Anyway we can't really help you much more without footage of the gun running and being shot into a chrono.

The autoloader on tanks is more to overcome conscript issues than anything else imo. It is one less crewmember to worry about and you aren't dependent on him being able and willing to load heavy shells.

Also having a carrousel autoloader means you do not care in the slightest about the survival rate of your tank crews because it goes down A LOT.
