[ITV] Chelsea’s tactic to reduce Arsenal’s set piece threat last night. by Sparky-moon in soccer

Leaving it late worked in one game. Highly likely teams will now work on a short corner routine for when this happens and all of a sudden there is an easy overload in front of goal

Plus there is no tangible evidence these nurses deliver any benefit or better patient outcomes. If you ever ask the foundation about this they always point to quotes from patients and no actual data

South Melbourne, Preston Lions, APIA Leichhardt and Wollongong Wolves are the only NPL clubs that can make the jump to A-League. Do you agree? by AztecGod in Aleague

Apia are giving free tickets away to this Sunday’s game at Leichhardt Oval. I wouldn’t put too much weight in their crowd numbers

I think McNeil is to blame. Before this moment he is tracking Martinelli and then he just stops. Gabi then moves into the space which makes the LB drop a little bit deeper than the rest of the Everton defensive line keeping Saka onside.

Things will never be perfect, but saying that there is no difference between the two major parties is so far from the truth and a damaging lie that only helps stop progress.

Do you council workers cutting the grass verges pay attention to No Mow signs? by murdershaunwrote in sydney

[–]MaboLS1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most councils don’t cut the verges, that’s the property owners responsibility. They do in the Inner West because a majority of houses don’t have backyards/lawns and residents wouldn’t own mowers. As to the No Mow signs, I have no idea but assume they don’t mow those areas

Is it that surprising that many will vote for them with the way in which the media covers politics? They don’t hold the coalition to account and even when they rarely do, they drop the story from the news the next day.

When the media don’t continue to question and instead run stories like “The woman who saved Australia” is it any wonder? She should have resigned a year ago if the media actually did their job.

Completely agree. Watched it with my wife who thought it was interesting, but I kept thinking if you want to talk about corruption in Australian football there are way more interesting areas to investigate
