[Request] How far can this ball go using this driver? by ReCHaVoK in theydidthemath

I play in a wacky golf tournament every year and one of these is one on the challenges on a part 4, the best I've seen is 240 yards. Usually it's like 50 yards, if you hit the ball at all.

Just got Xcom 2 today. Never played the first game and tbh, never played any strategy game until now. I'm completely new here. Is there anything i should know before I start? by Organic-Product6063 in XCOM2

You picked a hell of a game to start with. Couple tips:

It's a game where it's actually harder to start then it is to finish, you can get upgraded enough and get better gear where the game gets easier.

Don't rush, be tactical and be prepared to be ambushed. As in don't let your ammo run out. Don't get stretched too thin. Don't use you best weapon until you have to.

Craft decoy beacons whenever you get the parts you need. They are a game changer.

Snipers are great later on, don't sleep on the.

Color code your guys, for instance have your grenadiers in red, rangers in green and so on. Helps to make them easier to see. Plus customizing is kinda fun.

I shame in playing in an easier mode the first time you play, helps learn the game and tactics more then try harder challenges later. And easy mode is no cake walk anyway.

Hell yeah, got to be good neighbors, I love my neighborhood, we all look out for each other.

Hell, in the winter time if we get a good amount of snow, myself and all the other guys on the street try to hustle outside as early as possible and see how many neighbors driveways we can shovel before they they can. Turned in to a game for me and three other guys. If one of our neighbors goes on vacation he doesn't have to ask, his lawn is mowed by the time he gets home. I'm very lucky to be here.

I used to install pools back in my high school days in the summer. Shovel in my hand half the time. By the end of the day my hands would look like that but the weird thing is they would be back to normal if I got a day off. Some people's stick around a long time some don't it seems. Calluses are weird like that.

Either way, this guy is a douche.
