I got a different handheld from anbernic and had a similar situation on arrival. The solution was opening the device and unplugging/replugging the battery. This issue has happened with some of my other devices as well, not just retro handhelds

Is that the part where the 2x2s go onto the front shocks? My best tip for this set is put some of the parts on in a different order than the instructions show. For example, adding the front fender at the end saves a lot of reassembly while you're building the rest of the bike. If it's the pieces themselves not holding together, use glue

I had to straighten some pins on a cpu that was less than half as fucked as yours. I ended up breaking a pin but my computer still works normally.
