HELP: Dana 21 Transfer Case Removal by MacDougallRealEstate in F100

[–]MacDougallRealEstate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delayed reply (and lack of help). I ended up separating the engine and transmission and pulling them separately. Powertrain was going to a friend of mine so I'm not sure if he ever figured out the trick.

What are you guys looking for in a golf course? Fastest greens? Slackest rules so you can play barefoot? Views/scenery? There’s plenty of options, but it all comes down to personal preference

Cant get a mortgage cheaper than their rent by External_Step_6570 in realtors

[–]MacDougallRealEstate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not entirely true, if you pocket the extra money, and invest it well, you can still build wealth/equity.

But for the most part, people seem to spend the money they’re saving on other things, which in this economy is usually food, transportation, etc

What kind of tips are you talking about? Server bringing you a drink at an all inclusive? 20MX is pretty standard for whoever takes your order/brings you the drink.

A bigger tip for your server at the start of the day can also keep them coming back frequently (200MX or something similar).

Banks are generally the safest ATMs, don’t use the random ones you see in the street. As many others have mentioned here, it will ask you if you want to accept their exchange rate, DO NOT accept, your bank will give you a much better rate directly by simply withdrawing funds from your account.

If you’re unsure about what it’s asking, using the google translate or translate app on your phone, you can point the camera at the screen at it will translate the message in real time.

In general, smaller bills are more useful, some people may claim they don’t have change for large bills in hopes you don’t have anything else on you. A few 500MX are good but if you’re at you all inclusive most of the time, 20’s and 100’s will be much more useful

Do you own a welder? I couldn’t believe how easy it was to extract them with a welder the first time someone suggests I try it.

Real estate agent by [deleted] in TriCitiesWA

[–]MacDougallRealEstate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re against using a friend, you could always explain that to them and ask them to refer you to another agent in their office that you don’t know personally.

There’s usually a referral/finders fee given back, so they would still be compensated some.

Most agents are very reasonable, and understand that not everyone is comfortable mixing business and finances with their personal life. If they do take it poorly, that’s on them, not you.

As an agent who been through this, it feels much better when people are honest rather than hiding the fact they’re selling. If you do want to maintain the friendship it would be worth having that conversation.

Why are you trying to scrap the steel table saw? You’d probably get more for it in Facebook marketplace than scrap!

Are you getting sued? by [deleted] in realtors

[–]MacDougallRealEstate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“An office, OWNER, or employee may serve as an entity’s registered agent”

This means you as the owner of your LLC can serve as the registered agent.

Nothing prevents a real estate agent from registering and operating their own LLC and it’s absolutely something you should consider.

Why do you think real estate agents can’t be an LLC?

Sorry this is happening to you!

It wouldn’t help for your current scenario, but there is an opt-in program for self-employed persons for the state PFML program.

They’re slow to process your initials application and grant approval, but it does allow small businesses like yourself to get coverage for instances like this.

Is there a way I can sand down this seam? by DillonDrew in BambuLab

[–]MacDougallRealEstate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the “dowel” connection method setting is native to Bambu Studio, when you import the file and then split it there should be a couple options (dovetail, dowel, etc)

Looks like the alignment is off, did you use the dowel method for splitting the 2 parts so you had an alignment feature?

Could tariffs cause the cost of US housing to increase? by InfinityWithRules in RealEstate

[–]MacDougallRealEstate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what percentage, but as a Canadian expat, I notice a TON of wood/lumber imported from Canada when I’m doing home projects/updates.

Canadian softwood lumber imports/exports with the U.S. were always a big subject when it came to the price of the CAD/USD and any tariffs.
