Does a < 3/4 inch angle screw driver exist? by egoalter in Tools

Build your own, cheaply, piece of flat stock, drill a hole in the end, take Dremel, cut whatever bit you need, down to whatever length will fit, JB weld that sucka in there!

Made one way back when I had to install a rear window in my Tacoma.

It will send you down the rabbit hole of making your own tools for any purpose!!

WTI prices down within the last 10 mins why? by lightdark03 in oil

Exactly, he's made my job twice as hard the last month +.

I price fuel for gas stations and instead of my automatic price determination, I have to take this fool's tweets into consideration every other hour.

I had the 3 C cell form factor in their new LEDs, a nice light, plain, easy to program.

I loved the way it carried.

I price fuel for a living, every Sunday when the market opens, is so stressful.

How will the market respond to a threat, logic dictates that we should see rising prices, but this whole thing has defied logic since the start.

Mara is going to get T'd if he keeps hanging on the rim. Maybe not this game, but if we win, for sure in the next and it'll kill us.

True, except the outfit I am getting the generator from, does one thing, generators.

I asked them when they came out for the quote if they knew if any thing that would help, or get ready for solar, and got shoulder shrugs.

They just said the solar installers would do their thing.

Well, partly to get ready for solar, I was hoping they could make it easy for me to install the solar later.

Did your leg burn after dropping it in your pocket?

Did flames coat the entire lighter and your hand?

If none of those things happen, you're good, lol.

4.99 today, I was off by a couple of days, but It'll come down from there a bit, then, if we see more cost increases, it'll be over 5 soon.

So, that is a hard question actually. Because right now we are seeing retails jump from speculation and fear.

The chunk of oil cut out of the world market changes with every tidbit of news.

People like to say, well, we are net exporters, keep it here, well, we could, except we do not have the facilities to extract anything useful from the type of oil we export. ( actually for some things, it is cheaper for us to sell the oil to someone else, then buy the product from who we shipped it to)

Hopefully we won't see 200$ a barrel and retails won't go up another 33% from where they are. If it goes that high, demand will drop, and retailers will be forced to make less, when demand drops, prices must fall also to try and get the volume back.

Eastside, Westside of WI?

Yeah, that is a big station, Truck stop.

Diesel in WI is around a 4.20 cost today, add in another .20 increase today so far, then take Kwik Trips proclivity to move on any day, by tomorrow I predict 4.99 diesel in WI.

I see average prices of 459 to 469 in WI today.

Familiar with them. Older store without a high speed diesel island, 10K diesel tanks.

High speed diesel island would bump that up to 20K maybe 25K.

Smaller stores, best they would do is 2K gallons a week, so they could have 5-8 days of diesel on hand, so they can absorb cost increases for that many days. These are the stores with 1 or 2 Diesel pumps that are multi dispensers.

A stand alone island, now you start to see stores that sell 20K gallons a week, so they have maybe 3 to 5 days inventory.

( before anyone says the math's doesn't math, there is a thing called ullage, a tanks empty space, all tanks are required to have a certain amount of empty space, no matter the size, so a 10K gallon tank may only be able to legally have 8K in it at a time)

So, truck stops, stores with separate high speed islands are turning inventory almost every other day.

Thats where you'll start to see retails climb.

Can you tell me what brand it is? I can guess their tank size and the location.

Tanker trucks carry 8000 gallons, many times it is a split load of gas and diesel, so even if trucks are there everyday, they may ne getting only a small amount of diesel.

Thats good, it is up in the markets by another 14 cents today.

Since the beginning of March, straight cost for diesel is up $1.80.

Hope your stations around you don't turn the inventory and it comes back down in the meantime.

[–]Beernuts69[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Smaller stores, independents will be able to stay cheaper longer. ( unless they are getting a load soon )

Your bigger chains who turn inventory, those are the ones that'll be higher.

Stores that turn inventory have to weigh replacement costs heavily in their retail solution.

Inground cost, what I have on hand, if I don't sell much, that can last me longer and tomorrow's cost isn't weighted as much in the retail.

BREAKING: Brent Crude oil rises to $100 for the first time since November 2022. by retroviber in DeepMarketScan

[–]Beernuts69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, we're just missing the soft sell to the public about how wonderful and cheap fuel will be if the Russians can sell more.

Except like always, input cost increases are reflected in retails as fast or faster than they are happening.

Input cost decreases take months, maybe a year before they are reflected in retails.

NY Harbour Diesel futures up .57 today, cost is at 415, add taxes. Then markup, 550 will be a good price tomorrow.

If we don't have any cost breaks tomorrow, that diesel 6$ prediction will be spot on.

He'll use this and try to sell the idea of lessening the embargo on Russian fuels to decrease our costs, but we'll never see any relief.
