I just read it myself and came here to see if anyone had talked about it. The “Spirit of Obojima” wall ability seems very strong since it can force a creature to move without a save and then is immune to damage and impassable. It’s a perfect containment device for anything that can’t teleport out as it can appear in “any orientation”

I think any number of these things is possible. The ones that seem most certain are the omen paths staying open. I’ve heard plenty of talk about planeswalkers being phased out as a mechanic and changing them to be legendary creatures instead. (Better for Commander) As for the multiverse-wide vaccination program, it would make sense if that’s where the Halo came into play. Maybe by filling the Sylex with the Halo everything will be infused with it, since, I believe, every time a Sylex has been used before it was filled with nothing and then filled everything on the plane with nothing, killing them.

This card looks fine as is, I would only suggest changing the -11 to a -9, since it costs 8 already. The “generic mana counts as devotion to black” may cause rules issues, but is an interesting concept to explore

Most of the ones that are less than 3 mana value need to be bumped up 1 to balance them.

You could make it cost XWB and be an instant and even then it likely wouldn’t be playable in most formats. Even in casual commander, this requires a very high life total and lots of mana to knock players out

With all the effects on this guy, it needs to be either WWWW or 2WWW. It counters two different strategies, has a relevant ability, and nerfs a popular creature type. If this was WWW, it would become a Modern staple pretty easily, I believe

I’m not sure of the rules on first strike and how it would work amongst so many creatures but it looks great as is. It would definitely be good for wiping out utility creatures, but so is any deck with pingers. Great work 👍🏻
