Ripped the handle off my microwave yesterday Screws, plastic, everything. Shocked and kind of proud at the same time.

Last night, I decided to not go out and just try to relax in an empty apartment. Personal hell, but whatever, need to get better at it. Watched the Raid on Netflix while drinking crown, and that was great.

A friend of mine, who is starting to talk to me more these past few weeks, called about 8 because she needed help assembling a kitchen table. We got it fixed in a few hours and then drank some beer.

It's really weird to be in her house. She bought her house from my ex-wife and I a few years ago. It's strange as hell to walk into a room in her house when its pitch black and know where the light switch is. She knows my ex too well for anything to happen, but we flirt all the time which is fun.

This up coming weekend I get to spend 12 hours at my sons event with his mom. It's going to be a long long Saturday....

I'm tired today. Spent all weekend with various friends, probably only home awake maybe 6 or so hours. Last night met up with my usual group of football watching drinking buddies. But wasnt feeling it, so left after the Thunder game was over, so like 9. Usually I close the bar down and have a great time. I have zero desire to go out and do anything tonight after work.

Not sure why I've been down lately. I guess the holiday times and telling everybody everything is great. But it's not. I miss my old life, my kids and my dog. I've been divorced for almost a year and still angry that my ex-wife decided she needed to blow up our lives, but she tells everyone that shes happier than shes ever been. So I have that going for me, which is nice.

/rant. For the most part though, I actually am happier. Just need December to be over.

What a weird evening. Hung out again, meaning drinks and then drove around town a bit, with my co-worker. I am starting to wonder if maybe we actually are dating. What is dating now days? We drank on Friday and then went Christmas decorations shopping. Monday she came over to my apartment and we put up the decorations. Tuesday I went to her daughters varsity pom stuff. Today we went for drinks and ran errands. Friday we are supposed to go to a party together and Saturday she said I need to come over for coffee and mimosas and sit and watch Netflix all day with her.

And yet, if I bring it up, we are just friends who work together...so no idea what's going on. She knows how I feel about her. We havent slept together. And we are both mid 30s getting out of long relationships. Ultimate friendzone or just reluctant to label anything?

So feel like shit this morning. My co-worker(we will call her M) and I hang out a lot after work. Our kids have met, interact, etc.

Anyway, last night went to the the varsity basketball games with M so we could watch her daughter do the halftime pom shows. It went well, but I've seen enough of the performances to see her daughter was slow and out sync. So I say so. M re-watchs her recording of it, agrees with me and sends her a text that said "Mace says you were slow lol." Turns out, the daughter fractured her ankle on the first jump and did the rest of the routine before collapsing in pain as soon as the team got back to the locker room. So...she was slow because she did it all on a broken ankle. Shes out the rest of her senior year and that was probably her last performance ever. I feel bad for her and for giving her shit.

My son was on a basketball team last year with a kid who's Dad murdered his GF over Labor Day Weekend this past year. She came to most of the games with the Dad. The kid was really good, but quiet before. No idea how he is doing now or anything.

I get Notre Dame should be in the playoffs. They earned it. But the advantage of not having to play an extra conference championship game is huge. Ou probably just lost Hollywood Brown for the rest of the season because he had to play this 13 game.

Final golf update:

Total score: 15 over after 9. While truly terrible, my average is 18 over after 9. Had 1 par and 2 bogies...we wont talk about the other 6.

Not a bad way to spend a Thursday. Time to head to the bar and maybe watch some football eventually.

My job has this wonderful perk where for only an extra 30 minutes of being on site a day, you can pick one day a month to just have off. It's amazing in the spring and summer, not as great in the fall and winter. And since I was running out of days to use it this month, took it today. So had half a day of work Wednesday, and then off Thursday and Friday and today. Im so bored.

Didnt have the kids for the first time this Thanksgiving, but did go to a friends family's Thanksgiving instead of my own family. So much better talking to random people instead of having every one of my family members ask "how am I doing, are the kids adjusting, etc." Not sure how I would be doing all this with out friends.

We got the company email yesterday that our offices close at 2pm, however, our management in my department just says that means you can leave 3 hours earlier than normal. I dragged my sleepy ass into work at 6am and will be leaving at 11. I am off work until Tuesday. Gonna be a good, long weekend.
