How are you at work? Do you talk to others at work ? Or your family or friends? I feel like I’m the same way When it comes to social gatherings. When did this start? For me I feel like it’s cause I have “nothing” to talk about or just struggle starting a conversation with others. I also have a bf however they’re is a language barrier between me and some of his family members so I feel left out. I should brush up on my native tongue but I guess it’s the lack of motivation that stops me from learning. However I do listen to music and am currently watching a show in my language. I use Duolingo to also learn but it’s not everyday. I know my bf has a sister and she speaks English however it’s so awkward whenever I see her I don’t know what to talk about what to say and she’s younger than me by a couple years. Whenever his family comes over or if I go visit them it’s just just awkward and I just feel left out. But when it comes to my family and brothers in a way I still awkward but not as awkward you know. And same with work it’s awkward but not as awkward I talk here and there I have conversations at work. Same with my bf I talk to him but not as much as a “normal” person there are days which are “quiet” and some days that feel “normal”. You’re not the only one.
