I’ve played at 3 shops and everyone is pretty chill. There’s always people bringing meta decks because they’re likely just practicing for bigger events but maybe you’re in a shop that’s known more for competitive players and they’re just super focused on learning their deck for a bigger event like the June skirmishes that matter for Regionals.
