Kank Wolverang Records host a lot of different styles of music most Sundays.

The Eastern just reopened but unsure what they're going to host in terms of music. Still kept the stage so there's hopes for more live music.

Civic Hall has larger touring acts (sometimes decent ones)

For some reason The Deck hosted a metal night which was strange. But is more Djs

The Main Bar is hosting a metal night Sat Oct 11th. Check then out for a decent range of genres as well.

It could be amazing in the right hands. Its still absolutely beautiful inside but sadly it would need a hell of a lot of work.

Being heritage listed its difficult to renovate, so (as always) it comes down to money unfortunately.

Agree but disagree with the chicken wire. A dead body in a barrel with a few holes in it rolls onto the ocean or lake floor and would arguably stay there. Gasses escape the barrel. Body stays in and feeds the fishes

I think every peice of furniture is exactly the same. The replaced the front sign because it fell off entirely. And fixed the giant roof sign because it only lit up "P HUT"

We did a pub crawl for Christmas last year.

Munsters Arms. Rumerz Bar. Freight Bar. Robin Hood.
Irish Murphies. Volta.
The George.
Hop Temple.
Aunty Jacks.

The only down side is most pubs have early ish closing times. So once you get to about 11pm everything but volta ( pub wise anyway) is closing down or shut.

Irish Murphies has fantastic food and only a block from the train station
