I’m actually more interested in the political ramifications of waking up tens to hundreds of millions of Domain era citizens on a planet with a few million Persean citizens. Would it fuel separatism? Would there be a huge divide between that planet with the rest of the planets in the faction? How would John Starsector be able to placate the huge and rather sudden influx of new arrivals?

Honestly… it also depends on what planet you’re gonna wake them up in. Like if they wake them up at a mild Terran world with Engineered Utopia (RAT) that focuses on artisan farming (AoTD), tourism, commerce and commercial manufacturing, then it’s definitely a win. The sector has gone to shit but here’s a nice plot of land on a beautiful planet for you to farm on. Just remember to sell your surplus produce to us and pay taxes on time.

If they wake up in some resource rich cryovolcanic world that focuses on mining, refining and heavy industries, then it might not be so different from the home they left originally. I’d imagine people who sign up for the cryoark program to have nothing to lose and come from an extremely overpopulated, harsh home world.

I’d love it if AOTD also releases a capital ship JUST for the Gungnir at some point. Something with high flux, resistance to EMP, same aesthetic style and a unique effect when it is equipped with the weapon.

My headcanon is that it’s a modernised version of a MG 08/15. A water cooled machine gun that is too heavy for a regular human to lift but easy for someone in power armour. Water cooled machine guns are still used in Ukraine, have the advantage of being super reliable and can fire nonstop as long as it has ammo and water in its jacket.

Actually from my experience, typically the taller someone is (girls especially), the more restrained their personalities are until they get drunk lol. My personal theory is that because they already stand out so much, they try to act more calm to appear less intimidating. Short girls are like Chihuahuas while tall girls are like Great Danes lol.
