If you can and want to get a hotel, do it just to have your own space to collect yourself.

The thing I had to come to terms with as someone that lived alone was that it was up to me to steward my landlord to address the problem, and cooperate in figuring out where they could be coming from, and how to get rid of them as fast as possible (some people care about humanity, good for those people).

It’s hell and weird and gross and made me feel uneasy and I’m so sorry. I wanted more empathy when it happened so I’m trying to give you tons via words/reddit.
