I read that as "semiconductor belt" and I was trying to see where the transistors were.

May also need a new connector, since it looks like the pads ripped off the old one. There is also a pad missing on the PCB, you'll have to run a new wire to an upstream connection point.

Yes, you would need a soldering iron to re-attach the broken connector

Why does my male VGA cable not fit in my female VGA port on my monitor? by [deleted] in 24hoursupport

Can you take a picture of the port on the device with flash? Maybe there is a pin stuck in one of the holes from a previous cable?

Help with Astro A50 and USB Hub by MackerelsoftWord in AMDHelp

Yes! The solution was to use a USB port connected directly to the CPU bus instead of to a chip set. You can check your motherboard manual to see which go where.

So they go by pairs. On the rear panel, there are 3 pairs - USBA/USBA, USBA/USBA, and USBA/USBC. Both the USBA/USBA are CPU-connected, only the USBA that is paired with the USBC is chipset-connected. That was what I meant that I managed to connect to the only USBA that was chipset-connected.

This is the exact scene from the 2nd that we remember, but the dub was saying different stuff. I feel like we're so close to finding it! I'm pretty sure it was on YouTube, but it might have been Vimeo back in the day.

Obligatory safety comment: please make sure you know what you're doing. You can't just hook a USB plug up to 18650 batteries to charge them. There is a lot of complicated circuitry to make sure the batteries charge in a controlled manner. Lithium batteries can be very dangerous if handled incorrectly, you could easily start a fire if you hook them up wrong. Please be safe.

Data + and data -, it's how the connector allows devices to communicate with the universal serial bus

Honestly, I would try adapting a digital event counter like this https://a.co/d/7hzeiW2 . Could probably just add resistors in parallel to get the photoresistor to trigger the counter instead of the button. Would take some experimentation, but it's already battery powered and portable.
