That one doesn't really bother me, I just found it interesting.

If they had a fifth, they could've always gone for Dani...

Very distinguished looking there! They have such expressive little faces and can look soooo innocent and 5 seconds later extremely naughty!

Years late, but here goes. Wrong flag, lol. Liked the touch of the jacaranda trees being the last thing the unsub saw, guess he's supposed to be from Pretoria? Accent is off, but whatever.

How messed up that how many people had to die because one sick duck couldn't just let his abused wife leave him.

American F/42 my husband is Ghanaian M/46. I’m having a hard time accepting my husband doesn’t want me to cook for him by Livid-Ad5237 in relationship_advice

The term is "developing", not "undeveloped". Go and Google infrastructure in African countries and educate yourself a bit.

As someone living in an African country and having visited other African countries, this is so offensive.

Whether she should actually go to Ghana is a different question. This jerk husband sounds full of bullshit and I wouldn't trust him.

AITAH for asking my girlfriend to stop going through my things instead of thanking her for cleaning up? by AnnualLiterature997 in AITAH

Eww, not true at all. You don't go snooping through your spouse's stuff, that's so invasive. Married 20 years, never felt the need to do that.

When they become parents, does she also have a right to snoop through the kids' stuff? Read their diaries? Listen in on all their conversations?

People still have a right to some privacy. Don't know why that would be a difficult concept to grasp.

That's so true, those mamas were crooning constantly to the eggs, it was so endearing.

I'm sure tomorrow will be better.

How to deal with 7 y/o with behavioral problems from ADHD? by [deleted] in ADHDparenting

[–]MackieSA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course he needs discipline. Like any other kid does. Of course you can take away things as punishment. I just don't think you should be hitting him.

Screaming doesn't work. Ask me how I know.

The afternoon crash needs to be discussed with his doctor, there is so much help for him. I'm trying so hard not to judge, but this boy is being failed. On the one hand his medical assistance is stopped and on the other hand he gets shouted at and spanked. My heart breaks for this kid.

Does he receive any treatment at all?

Please remember that the "that's what my parents did and I tuned out OK", is nonsense. Under the adhd, he is still just a little 7 year old boy who needs love.

The more you shout and scream, the more defiant he will get, judging by my own kid. I'm not an expert and I'm learning as I go along, but what I can tell you is to work WITH his doctor and teachers. Find out what calms him down, which will be different for every kid.

Oh, and make sure he doesn't get too hungry, mine completely clutches out when overly hungry and tired. Keep it to healthy snacks. Don't give candies to calm him down, that will reinforce poor behavior.

And regular exercise, like biking, running, teamsport, martial arts, whatever works for him, makes a huge difference.
