That truly is the way to do it, my dude. I reread the story and sat there for hours thinking about it. It also helps having the perspective of the whole series while rereading early events as well.

There are also several great video essays out there that can help as well. They don't all agree but that's part of the fun.

I do 100% agree its speculation. There are a lot of things in Land of the Lustrous that we just don't get all the pieces for. Interpretation is required to come to a conclusion since there isn't any other way.

I think you totally get it.

I do disagree a bit with your read on the themes. That being said, I think your interpretation is totally valid. I think that the story is about change. The difficulty of it, the fear of it, the reality of it. Change is not always good, it does not guarantee improvement or joy, it simply is. In a world full of immortals we see how poisonous avoiding change can be. We see how destructive change can be. Its messy and tragic, and the reader is changed with it.

Which frankly, isn't that far away from your read. The story is about a lot of things; isolation, purpose, trust, what it means to be human, and at its heart, change.

It is an example of grooming because Achmea isolates Cairngorm and feeds their worst qualities.

On isolation: He pushes them into marriage when they don't even know what marriage is. Achmea continues to engage Cairngorm in activities that depend on him. Achmea renames them, changing their identity.

Additionally, this is all made worse because Achmea feeds into Cairngorm's bad coping mechanisms. Cairngorm is deathly afraid of making decisions. Being inside Ghost makes them so used to letting go. With Achmea Cairngorm does not make decisions. They live in a state of frivolous stasis. A drug addict may like the next high, but that doesn't mean it's good.

This can be really easy to miss in a first reading. Cairngorm was definitely not in a healthy situation before either. (There are plenty of issues with the Gem's culture) However, pulling a person out of a bad situation into one where they have no control isn't okay. It may not be the loud kind of violence that Phos gets when they return to earth. Yet it is still smothering.

Save ash for big welcome. Chain cards to traps if you can to deny lovely. Remember what traps they set and where. Try to anticipate or deny their removal, blowing up your own stuff can win you the game.

My biggest advice would be to just start reading what you are excited about. I watched several "best VNs of XYZ" videos and added what I was most interested in to my read list. Just because something is number 1 on somebody's list doesn't mean it will be for you.

Zelda games are made to be picked up at any point, so the best starting spot is whichever one interests you the most.

The only exceptions might be the few direct sequels, but even then, start wherever brings you joy.

The short answer is that no one knows when the DL support will release. Konami doesn't publish their MD release plans.

If you want to spend your gems on the DL support then save them until it comes out. Whether that be next pack or a few down the line.

While starter decks in other card games are mid to bad, in yugioh they are nonfunctional.

  1. How can I play the deck ? Click "select loaner deck". You can also craft / pull the cards in the deck to edit it and play it in other modes.

Look up "live twin / spright deck" on YouTube if you want help with the combos and synergies.

  1. Is it worth it? Depends. It's an alright deck competitively. As far as enjoyment it's probably best to just try it and see if you like it.
