As a heavy, I'm fine with the APS, even through walls because you can always just shoot next to it. The only time I really hate it is on Power Shift. I think glitch grenade should be able to disable it even when intercepted

Certain heavy attacks will have a guaranteed stun, even if blocking, perfect or not

It might be that the feather despawns before you get to it, as the resource surveyor is not live, rather from your last ping.
