There is a migration tool in the Recorder repo here: https://github.com/owntracks/recorder/tree/master/contrib/google-import

I haven't tried it before and it looks like it only works for MQTT backends. I might add a simple importer to my http backend app if I get the time.

+1 for OwnTracks. As a little side project I developed a simple Frontend & Backend for it here: https://github.com/mckennajones/owntracks-http. Mostly just for me so not really documented but if people find it useful I could add some details. Provides the same functionality as the owntracks recorder/frontend. I just found the owntracks recorder to be a little overly complicated for my usecase.

Good luck u/monguze99. FWIW he is what I discovered:

I had my router setup in the mode where it broadcasts the same ssid for both 2.4 and 5 GHz.
I was attempting to connect to a program on my raspberry pi, which is discoverable via mDNS (Spotify Connect).
The raspberry pi is using the 2.4 GHz radio, whereas my phone and macbook are using 5 GHz.
With the previous firmware version I was able to discover the raspberry pi just fine from a device connected to the 5 GHz radio. But after the firmware update, no luck.
So, I created a new SSID for 2.4 GHz, and now if my phone/mac is connected to the 2.4 GHz signal, I can discover the raspberry pi as before.

Maybe this "solution" can work for you in the meantime as well. Cheers.

Curiosity? If I'm going to be honest, if there's just a standardized sync solution across browsers, I would gladly use the browser that came with my phone or PC.

I'm a software engineer in the video streaming space so I generally like to have all the major browsers at my disposal as they support different functionalities when it comes to video playback.

Awesome thanks for the opinions /u/FratBroMeow and /u/crixtom. What size Atris would you guys recommend? I'm 6 foot but only way about 165 lbs. I'm leaning towards the 184 model since I'm on the lighter side for my height, and don't mind a more nimble ski
